Apreciados Socios Propietarios de Vehículos de Agencias de Renta de Autos en Ecuador
En virtud de la grave crisis de seguridad que afecta a nuestro país, el directorio de nuestra Asociación ha tomado la decisión de presentar un ADDENDUM a los contratos de renta con nuestros socios proveedores de autos. En una reunión realizada el día de hoy, 10 de enero de 2024, a las 9 a.m., presentamos el addendum, el cual busca abordar de manera proactiva las dificultades que enfrentamos en el ámbito de seguridad a nivel nacional.
Este addendum propone dos alternativas que consideramos cruciales dada la situación actual:
- Modificación del Método de Contratación: Proponemos cambiar el método de contratación de los vehículos, pasando de un pago mensual a un esquema de pago parcial o eventual. Bajo esta alternativa, los pagos se realizarían únicamente por los vehículos cuando se encuentren en movimiento o bajo la contratación de un cliente. Es importante señalar que, en este caso, la compañía contratante asumirá toda la responsabilidad en relación con los riesgos asociados al alquiler de un vehículo en estado de excepción. Nuestros agentes rentistas estarán debidamente capacitados para informar a los clientes o conductores sobre los posibles riesgos que implica movilizarse en estas circunstancias.
- Terminación Anticipada del Contrato: La segunda opción contempla la terminación anticipada del contrato de manera forzosa. Dado que la crisis de seguridad ha reducido las oportunidades de renta, esto ha impactado negativamente en nuestros ingresos, dificultando el cumplimiento del pago mensual en su totalidad. Esta propuesta se presenta de manera general a nivel nacional, y cada agencia tiene la capacidad de negociar, proponer o responder a las inquietudes de sus socios proveedores con el objetivo de llegar a un entendimiento mutuo.
Confiamos en que estas alternativas sean consideradas con la seriedad y urgencia que amerita la situación. Nos solidarizamos con el Gobierno Ecuatoriano, el Presidente Daniel Noboa y con su pueblo, confiando en que, juntos, podemos resistir ante los desafíos que la delincuencia nos presenta.
Con fe en Dios y en las buenas acciones de los líderes ecuatorianos, estamos seguros de que superaremos esta crisis y trabajaremos unidos para un futuro más seguro y próspero.
